The School of Dance is proud to announce that visiting artist Kelly Brunk will choreograph a dance work for the Lawrence Ballet Theatre, our pre-professional dance company, beginning in late September. Company members will perform the new work next year as part of their annual Emergence performance, and at Regional Dance America/MidStates Festival, to be held in Madison, WI. Kelly is no stranger to our company; as a previous visiting artist, he has guest choreographed dances for Emergence, and last year company members performed his contemporary ballet piece Meetings Along the Edge as part of Regional Dance America’s 2016 Gala Performance – a great honor! Please join us in welcoming Kelly back to our studios this month.
