We are so lucky to have the very talented Andrew Cho working with students in our studios. Andrew achieved his MFA in Ceramics from Georgia State University and has been working with us for over a year now. He works with both youth and adults while constantly creating his own work in our studios. Andrew’s work is extremely interesting with it’s highly illustrative quality and focus on finishing clay pieces. He uses forms as canvases and explores how two dimensional drawing intersects with three dimensional sculpture. Andrew is loved by all because of his patience, curiosity, and willingness to explore barriers. This Spring he is teaching many classes: Clay Creations for 1st-2nd Graders and 3rd-5th Graders, Throw on the Wheel for Middle School students, Illustrating Clay for Middle and High School Students, and Family Pottery for adults and elementary students working together to make ceramic art. Come learn techniques in the always entertaining world of clay with Andrew Cho; whether it is throwing pottery, hand building, glazing, or illustrating your clay, you’re guaranteed to have a good time.
