This Fall, the dance program has been thrilled to have Tori Lawrence + Co. in our studios. Following this month’s performance of “Progress” on the LAC stage, Tori Lawrence will offer a Master Class in Choreographing for the Camera, open to performance/video artists, and Intermediate-Advanced dancers ages 15+.
In this introductory filmmaking workshop, students will learn the pre-production basics of composing movement for the camera. The workshop will consist of short exercises designed to build foundational skills in cinematography. Students will learn various tools for image design as well as deepen their understanding of screendance.
