Calling all youth filmmakers—here’s your chance to get your film seen at film festival.  HANG12, Lawrence Arts Center’s youth curatorial board, is taking submissions for Nouvelle Lumiere, a showcase of experimental films by youth filmmakers.  Your video must be from 1-10 minutes and be experimental in fashion.  Tell a story (or don’t) in a unique way, make some glitch art, make something beautiful or ugly, just make it an experiment in filmmaking.  The entries will be curated and shown at the Free State Festival at the June Final Friday.  Just make your film, submit a youtube link or hard copy  with the submission form to the Arts Center, and watch as people enjoy what you’ve created.  If you’re interested in a filmmaking class at the Arts Center, check out Filmmaking June 6-10 and June 27-July 1.
