Jane Flanders paints en plein air (in open air) informed by nature with its endless variation of values, colors, edges and brightness. She uses the mindfulness learned in her yoga practice to increase awareness and respond to the light cast upon nature. Her work has been exhibited at the Cathy Kline Art Gallery, the Missouri Valley Impressionist Society Members Show at the Albrecht Kemper Museum of Art and the Smoky Hill Museum in Salina, KS.
Her piece, 1128 New York Street, is now available for silent and online bidding in the 2016 Benefit Art Auction.
