Brent Lind is a Kansas native and a graduate of the Theatre Design program at the University of Kansas. Upon graduation, Brent began working in the music industry as a touring audio engineer, a career which took him to 50 states, a few dozen countries, and 6 continents while working with a diverse range of contemporary artists, including stints with My Morning Jacket, Ray LaMontagne, Elvis Costello, Roger Waters, and many others. Beyond music, Brent also worked for an NGO in Kinshasa, D.R. Congo, teaching sound and lighting technique for film and television, served as tour and production manager for a corporate event series for Qwest Communications, and freelanced as a web developer, building custom sites and applications using a variety of technologies. Brent is excited to stay put for a while and bring his technical expertise and passion for the arts to the Lawrence Arts Center as the new Salesforce Administrator. When he isn’t staring at screens, Brent is usually trail running, cycling, or playing with his terriers.
