INSIGHT Art Talk: Christy Wittmer

2015/16 Ceramics Artist in Residence, Christy Wittmer, returns to Lawrence to give an INSIGHT Art Talk about the fifteen months she spent in China on a Fulbright grant. She spent the first three and a half months in Beijing studying Mandarin and exploring the city. Christy spent the remaining year living and working in Jingdezhen, China, which is commonly known as the Porcelain Capital for its 1700 year history of porcelain production. Company Auditions for Lawrence Ballet Theatre 2018-19
